Little Shop of Horrors

August 7 – 22, 2020  – Presented in partnership with the Music and Theater Departments of Schreiner University – Little Shop of Horrors by Howard Ashman and Alan Menken.

Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, August 16 at 2:30 p.m. in the Cailloux Theater.

In this mad-cap adaptation of the classic noir film by Roger Corman, the amazing team of Ashman & Menken tell a Rock-tinged tale of planetary invasion by man-eating plants.  This is a hugely popular musical across the world, and features four variously sized versions of the alien/plant known as “Audrey II” – from hand held to a stage-filling full size.  Great roles for a variety of ages – lots of room for chorus, but little reliance on dance.

In order to follow the recommendations for ‘Social Distancing’ during the current health crisis, we’ve laid out the theater with pairs of seats set at least six feet away from all other available seats.

If your group is larger than two people from the same household, please call rather than purchase tickets online, so that we can seat you together and re-arrange our available seating to meet distancing goals.  830-896-9393
