Angela Brown – Soprano

May 6 – Angela Brown’s Metropolitan Opera debut in 2004 excited the media with reviews from the New York Times: “At last an Aida!!” and the C.B.S. Evening News: “the future of opera has arrived.” She has since been featured on the front pages of the New York Times and in Oprah Magazine, Ebony Magazine, and Reader’s Digest among others. Miss Brown has sung leading operatic roles in major opera houses throughout North America, Europe, Africa, and New Zealand and has captured a countless number of singing awards including the winner of the 1997 National Metropolitan Opera Council Auditions.
